CANCELLED: King Day of Service

After consultation with Dr. Tim Cronin, Superintendent, of Decorah Public Schools, and our other Decorah area partners, the MLK Day of Service event scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 13, has been cancelled due to weather implications. We thank everyone who had planned to volunteer and participate.
This event is an opportunity for members of Luther College and the Decorah community to join thousands of Americans in honoring King’s work and legacy through community service. As King once said, “Everybody can be great… because anybody can serve.”
The event will begin at Decorah High School at 9 a.m. Volunteers will be transported to different volunteer locations throughout Decorah, with volunteering ending around 12 noon. Contact cies@luther.edu with any questions.
