In Love with Another’s Words: Connection and Creativity Through Translation

Mary Jane White, translator and poet, will share the pleasures and challenges of literary translation through a hands-on exercise followed by a Q&A, moderated by English professor Lise Kildegaard. White will address how translation hones a poet’s skill and what opportunities are out there in the world of translating. The event will start with pizza at 6:00.
