First Year Friday

Luther invites you to participate in one of two optional First Year Friday (FYF) events, tailored specifically for deposited first-year students to experience campus one last time before move-in day. You will have the opportunity to meet fellow 2027 classmates, connect with various support resources, and explore Decorah!
Events for the day
- Welcome from campus leaders
- Introduction to Paideia Summer Read
- Break the Ice with the Class of 2027
- Support Resources Fair
- Complimentary Lunch
- Student-led campus or residence hall tours (optional)
Parent and guardians will have the opportunity to connect with parents of current Luther students.Â
Events begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 2:30 p.m.
