Social work is more than a practice and profession, and expands beyond the oversimplification of direct service. Social work shows up in many spaces and includes mezzo- and macro-level work such as nonprofit management, policy work, and advocacy. This lecture will highlight a non-traditional social worker’s journey in the nonprofit sector.
The lecture, held in memoriam of Luther’s former social work program director Don Kemp, is open to the public with no charge for admission.
