Cultivating the Common Good through Farming and Filmmaking

Join us to explore social connections and ethics through farming and filmmaking. The event features Peg Davis and Bernardo Morillo. We’ll screen Morillo’s documentary film, Peg of My Heart, and follow it up with a conversation between Davis, Morillo, and the audience. Davis hails originally from Nebraska, holds MFA degrees in ceramics and poetry, and farms in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Morillo is an accomplished film editor and director with two Emmy awards to his name. A graduate of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, he established the company La Casa Post in 2013, and has created excellent documentaries on a wide range of subjects and social matters. Come along for a wonderful film and stay for the lively conversation that you’re invited to make happen.
