Contemporary Issues in Norwegian Politics

On Wednesday, September 14, members of the Norwegian Parliament (the Storting) will visit Luther College. Ms Lene Vågslid, Chair of the Committee on Local Government and Public Administration, and Mr Helge André Njåstad, First Vice Chair, will give a short lecture about the parliamentary system and current political situation in Norway and explain why the Committee chose to visit the US and the Midwest. Ms Vågslid represents the constituency of Telemark for the Labour Party and Mr Njåstad represents the constituency of Hordaland for the Progress Party.
