CELT: Fostering Student Engagement in your Course (G. Strand)

Coming out of her work in the 2022-2023 Faculty Learning Community on Developing Learning, Gwen Strand will lead this interactive workshop on building engagement for student success. Participants will discuss the factors which influence student
engagement in a course. Topics include promoting a positive classroom climate, building personal connections, and nurturing mental toughness. Participants will generate ideas for incorporating these strategies into their own courses gearing up for a successful 2023-2024 academic year.
