Film screening and Discussion: Beyond Walls: 5 Films For Prison Industrial Complex Abolition

Social Work Association invites you to join us for a private screening of “Beyond Walls: 5 Films For Prison Industrial Complex Abolition”. “Beyond Walls” is an organizing initiative that uses documentary films to define and amplify what prison industrial complex (PIC) abolition means, and inspires people to imagine and take action toward a world without policing. Following the screening will be a Q&A with David Starks and Jason Sole who both worked with the film and have personal experience with incarceration.

Doors open at 5:30 and movie starts 6:00.
Food and refreshments will be provided.
