24 Hour Performance – Faculty Artist Series: Alexander Meszler

Luther College Organist Alexander Meszler performs a 24-hour (5:00 P.M.–5:00 P.M.) version of John Cage’s 1987 Organ²/ASLSP (As Slow as Possible). This will be the longest known single-performer performance of the piece; further artistic explanation will be provided in program notes. The performance is free and open to the public and will take place in the Sundt Organ Studio, Jenson-Noble Hall of Music. The front doors of the building will remain unlocked throughout the performance. Guests may come and go as they please.
