With more than 30 years in the field of hypnosis and 11,000 professional engagements under his belt, master hypnotist Jim Wand will make a return visit to Luther College with a 7:30 p.m. show Saturday, Sept. 2, in the Center for Faith and Life Main Hall.

Considered one of the most professional hypnotic entertainers in the world, Wand is the founder and owner of Wand Enterprises, The Hypnotic Agency. His company employs more than 100 hypnotists, magicians and ventriloquists. Wand performs more than 200 presentations each year.
Wand's talents have allowed him to work with many celebrities, including Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien, Chris Rock, Heidi Klum, Carrot Top, Larry the Cable Guy, "Survivor" host Jeff Probst, Sylvester Stallone, George Strait and the band Rascal Flatts.
In addition, he's also performed on many TV programs and stations, including the national FOX special, "WOW," "The Sally Show," "The Judge Joe Brown Show," the Discovery Channel, Comedy Central and numerous other appearances on FOX, ABC, NBC and CBS.
Wand holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology, a master's degree in counseling and a doctorate in philosophy. He is considered a master in the field of personal and group motivation.
