Dear Class of 1998:
Another Homecoming has come and gone. It was by all accounts a beautiful weekend in Decorah, remembering and celebrating our ties to Luther. I am sorry I was unable to join you. Alas, I spent the weekend lying on the couch wishing I were dead. Although it was in many ways reminiscent of the occasional college weekend, unfortunately it did not include any of the fun and shenanigans that typically preceded such misery. Worst of all, I didn't get to relieve my ills with a bowl of chicken and wild rice soup in the CAF. Nevertheless, I trust you all enjoyed Homecoming more than I did, and I'm expecting to join you next year.
