Hello Fellow Classmate:
I found myself chuckling as I typed the heading “spring” on this letter, as it is not very spring-like in the Midwest at the moment--thanks to the polar vortex. Luther has been practically buried in snow this winter, but it won’t be long before students will be running across the green grass on the library lawn wearing flip-flops and flinging Frisbees. Remember those first spring days when we’d sit out on the library lawn studying (or napping), enjoying the feeling of the warm spring sun? Even though we graduated 32 years ago, these and other common memories of our time on campus together connect us forever.
