Greetings, 1964 Luther College Classmates,
Finally it’s cooling down here in Arizona! Some of you may recall that in the past I have written that I was feeling guilty writing these letters to you from here during winter months...but no longer! For Linda and me, summer here is nearly unbearable. Don’t ever let anyone tell you that 115 degrees is made tolerable because it is dry heat. Having to endure more than 30 such days this past summer I can unequivocally tell you no, it’s not! Fortunately we were able to get back to Wisconsin for a few weeks in July and August.
