2014 Homecoming, Inauguration Day

Class of 1957 Fall 2014 Letter

Fall 2014

Dear Classmates,

Homecoming weather was perfect this year, and because of the inauguration of our 10th president, many extra visitors from around the country got to experience our great Luther celebrations. If you happened to have read the schedule for that Friday, I did it all! Starting at 7:30 a.m. with the class agent breakfast and meeting, then chapel, symposium, lunch, inauguration, outdoor reception, alumni dinner and program, and then my granddaughter Alayna and I ended with the volleyball games and were home by 10:00 p.m. I enjoyed every minute of it all, but I admit I stayed home all Saturday to recover. I went back to campus for the annual concert on Sunday afternoon. Among others, I had a nice visit with MARIE STREYLE SUNDET, who has a grandson at Luther again this year. Keep encouraging all of those good teenagers that you are related to, or that you know, to consider Luther. You know it's still a great place to spend those college years.
