Dear Luther College Classmates of 1953,
Despite my resistance, Facebook now pops into my life on a daily basis. My circle of friends is still quite limited; I don’t want to spend my life on an avalanche of trivialities. Further, my likes and comments are measured out in teaspoons rather than tablespoons, and I have yet to post anything at all. Frankly, I don’t think I know how. It all started with the arrival of a new granddaughter two-plus years ago. Our son posts pictures of her on Facebook. Since she and her parents live far away in the DC area, we follow her development mostly on Facebook. That’s how it all began.
