2014 Christmas at Luther

Christmas at Luther December 4 - 7

As part of the Christmas at Luther festivities, the Luther Book Shop will host two book signings on Saturday, December 6. From 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. author David Weiss and illustrator Joan Hernandez Lindeman will sign copies of their award winning children's book, "When God Was a Little Girl." From 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Bradley Hanson will sign copies of "Spirituality and Your Life Story." Both events are free of charge and open to the public.

A Josten class ring representative will be in the Dahl Centennial Union Lobby Fri., Dec 5 from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Sat., Dec. 6 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Sun., Dec. 7 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. She will be offering $20 off 10K, $20 off 14K and $80 off 18K rings and pendants.

Inaugural Symposium

Book signings - Inaugural Symposium - October 10

The Book Shop will have copies of books authored by participants for the Inaugural Symposium for sale both in the Book Shop and before and after the symposium held in the Jenson Noble Recital Hall. Those authors included are: President Paula J. Carlson, Dr. Jacqueline Bussie, Dr. Peter Hawkins, Rev. Jim Honig and Dr. Robert D. Schultz.

Book Signing - Thursday, October 2

The Luther Book Shop welcomes authors Virginia Gibbs and Luz Maria Hernandez for a book signing on Thursday, October 2. The event will take place in the Book Shop from noon - 2:15 p.m. Please join us and visit with the authors as they discuss their book, Shattered Dreams: The story of a historic ICE raid in the words of the detainees. A book signing will also be held following their 7 p.m lecture in Olin Building, room 102.

On Saturday, October 17, the Book Shop will hosted several authors for book signings.

From 9:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m, Doug Eckheart, author of Eye Training: A Beginner's Drawing Workbook and Alissa (Vanderpool) Vermillion '90, author of Beyond Farewell.

Douglas Hartmann Book Signing February 20

Kent Annan Book Signing

The Book Shop will host a meet the author/book signing by Kent Annan in the Book Shop on Friday, January 10 from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Annan is the author of After Shock and Following Jesus Through the Eye of the Needle and is co-director of Haiti Partners, a nonprofit focused on education in Haiti.
