A double major in international studies and political science at Luther College gave Ismail Hamid ’19 valuable skills to help his home country, the Maldives.

Anthropology classes and global experiences transformed Anne Marie Hanson ’03 and inspired her career and research in environmental studies.

Eli Williamson ’02 used his experience at Luther as a launchpad for a lifetime of service, including serving as president of Leave No Veteran Behind.

Sidney Larsen ’17 discovered her love for French at Luther College and is now a senior staffer at the American University International Law Review.

Claire Hamilton ’19 developed skills and confidence at Luther, leading to her work with the Cornerstone West Community Project through the Lutheran Volunteers Corps.

Katie Prichard ’10 chose Luther because of the college’s uncommon and enriching museum studies program, going on to be an associate registrar at the University of Michigan Museum of Art.

Thanks to Luther College’s anthropology and study away programs, Megan Clark ’05 discovered her love for museum and artifact studies, leading to her earning a master’s degree from the University of Durham in England.
