Luther alumnus and accomplished gaming executive Lorenzo Creighton ’75 to speak about his entrepreneurship experiences

Luther College presents entrepreneurship speaker, Luther alumnus and accomplished gaming executive Lorenzo Creighton ’75, as he speaks about his experiences at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 29, in F.W. Olin Building, Room 102.

This event is open to the public with no charge for admission.

Creighton is an accomplished gaming executive with experience and knowledge of the regulatory environment, operational strategies and business opportunities that build revenues and cohesive community relationships. He is known by colleagues as a visionary and resourceful leader, with domestic and international experience in multi-billion dollar gaming enterprises and emerging gaming markets. Some of Creighton’s experiences include spending more than 20 years as president and COO at MGM and Park Place Entertainment properties, managing statewide referendum and proposed gaming legislation as a registered lobbyist in Georgia, managing Canadian gaming IPO, and refinancing venture in two provinces. He also holds gaming licenses in multiple U.S. states and British Columbia, Canada.

Creighton received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Luther College and his Juris Doctor from Drake University.

The entrepreneurship lectures are sponsored by the Luther College Economics, Accounting and Management Department.
