Luther College offers Creative Arts Visit Day
Luther College is hosting a Creative Arts Visit Day for prospective students Friday, Oct. 27. Activities for the day are geared toward prospective students interested in art, dance and theatre by providing an opportunity to explore visual and performing arts at Luther.
Registration deadline is Sunday, Oct. 22.
The event begins at 9 a.m. in the Center for the Arts and should end by 3:45 p.m.
The day includes opportunities for prospective Norse to hear current students and Luther professors in the art, dance and theatre departments talk about their programs. In addition, there will be opportunities to participate in ceramics, drawing, painting, documentary filmmaking, theatrical performance, dance and performance workshops. Prospective students will also tour Luther’s campus and the student art studios.
High school senior participants have the option to audition for dance and theatre scholarships and receive a portfolio review with art faculty as part of the art scholarship application process. Admissions counselors are available for appointments throughout the day.
