Rob Larson
Biography

Professor Rob Larson has been a member of the Economics and Business faculty since 2003, focusing on the topics of marketing, investment management, and entrepreneurship. Some of his course topics have included Principles of Marketing, Investment Management, and Australia as Brand (study abroad).
Currently, Professor Larson teaches the Scholars Colloquium course for first-year Regents scholars.
Past research projects have covered topics ranging from Models for Undergraduate Research and Hands-On Marketing Applications in Non-classroom Settings to Use of Electronic Focus Groups as an Assessment Tool in a Principles of Marketing Class
HONR 130 Scholars Colloquium
The Scholars Colloquium (HONR 130) is a one credit discussion-based course for first-year students who have been awarded the Founders scholarship or attained similar academic achievement. This is an opportunity to engage with other high-achieving first-year students in thoughtful discussion of issues and ideas from a wide range of topics.
