This program will contain an introduction to mindfulness, as well as its implementation and development in recent decades. There will also be a brief introduction to Buddhism and mindfulness’s role in the practice. There will then be a 30-40 minute session of mindfulness practice- mind and body experienced in full and some light stretching at the beginning, which can be modified accordingly. Two separate forms of mindfulness practice will be introduced: mindful meditation and walking meditation. Please come wearing comfortable clothing, and ready to learn new ways to engage with your mind and reflect on the self!
