U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst visits Luther College as part of her 99 county tour
U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst is hosting a town hall meeting at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 2 in Valders Hall of Science Room 206 on the Luther College campus.
The event is part of the 99 county tour she completes each year in an effort to visit with as many Iowans as possible.
“The 99 county tour gives me the opportunity to hear Iowans’ concerns, ideas and questions firsthand and work to translate that feedback into action in Washington,” said Sen. Ernst.
Ernst’s staff say she does not have a speaking agenda, rather she takes questions from the audience. The event is open to the public with no charge for admission.
