Lecture: The Present, Past, and Future of Soil Erosion in the Midwestern United States

Accelerated soil loss is a critical challenge for midwestern agriculture and for environmental quality in agricultural regions. Geoscientist Isaac Larsen from the University of Massachusetts Amherst will present findings from his research on the extent of soil erosion in the midwest and associated implications for sustainable soil conservation practices.
