  • Luther announces ACUPCC Climate Action Plan

    Luther College joined colleges and universities across the nation that announced their Climate Action Plans on Sept. 15. The plans developed by the educational institutions, which are all signatories of the American College & University Presidents’ Climate Commitment (ACUPCC), contain the specific steps the schools are taking to reach climate neutrality by drastically reducing greenhouse gas emissions and long-term operational costs.  Read more...

    Sean Kingston, a rising star in the world of Hip-Hop, pop and blues, performed to a sold out crowd in the Regents Center at Luther College on Nov. 13. Rousheen Paisley, Luther College news writer, caught up with Kingston before his performance for a brief interview. He offered some interesting comments about performing for a small-venue audience in the upper Midwest region that would not typically be considered to have a large fan base for Hip-Hop.  Read more...

    New Boyz, who opened a Nov. 13 Sean Kingston concert at Luther College, performed to a sold out venue in the college’s Regents Center. After their performance and posing for a few pictures, the two New Boyz rappers, Ben J and Legacy reclined to the center’s south with their ‘hype man’ Tevin, changed into the “Luther Blue” shorts given to them by the college’s Student Activities Council and proceeded to play a game of two-on-two basketball with one of the SAC staff members.   Read more...
