Casey McConnell, Kenyon College holds the record with 531.
"There is no doubt we played against a team performing at a very high level," stated Head Coach Mike Durnin. "Our defense played well most of the game, making them earn their yards. We did have a couple of adjustment miscues unfortunately and those are never positive against a team like Dubuque.
Offensively we moved the ball but we need to finish drives with a higher sense of urgency, especially when we are in the red zone.
In adverse times like these, our players continue to hold themselves to a high standard of character and if they continue to take this lesson on in life they will be successful in the long run."
The Norse will finish the road portion of their schedule at Cornell College next week. Start time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. in Mount Vernon. Norse fans can hear all the action via audio stream starting at 12:50 p.m.
