Luther College Admissions will host a Scholar Recognition Day on Saturday, Feb. 9 and Saturday Feb. 23 in order to recognize the highest achieving admitted students at Luther, and allow those students the chance to interact with faculty and current students.
Students who have been awarded the Founder's, President's or Dean's Scholarship, or the Martin Luther Award are invited to attend the event.
Scholar Recognition Day will begin with check-in from 8:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. and will be followed by academic seminars, student panels covering topics such as research, study abroad and internships as well as a recognition lunch with the Luther faculty, staff and students. There will also be time after lunch for tours of both the Luther campus and Decorah, music scholarship auditions and coach meetings.
Students attending the Scholar Recognition Day are invited to stay overnight with a Luther student on the Friday before the event. Registration for an overnight can be found in the event registration form.
