Luther College SAC Spotlight to showcase The Ballroom Thieves

Bringing their passion and raw emotion to the stage, the three-piece band The Ballroom Thieves will entertain Decorah audiences at 8 p.m. Friday, March 7, in Marty's, located in the Dahl Centennial Union on the Luther College campus.

The Ballroom Thieves bring an inspiring show of rock disguised as folk. The band, known for its unique instrumentation and dazzling three-part vocal harmonies, features Martin Earley, guitar; Devin Mauch, percussion; and Calin Peters, cello. Within the past year alone, they have performed at more than 50 colleges nationwide and have opened for established acts such as Dispatch and The Lone Bellow.

They debuted their EP album, "The Devil & The Deep," in January 2012, and have been capturing audience attention across the nation ever since.
