Luther College SAC Spotlight presents 'A Spotlight on Student Groups'

Luther College Student Activities Committee presents "A Spotlight on Student Groups" at 8 p.m. Friday, April 5, in Marty's CyberCafé in the Dahl Centennial Union on the Luther campus.

Tickets are $5 and available at the Luther Box Office or at the door the night of the show, telephone (563) 387-1357 or boxoffice@luther.edu, open Monday-Friday, 9-10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.-3 p.m.; extended hours Thursdays: open until 7 p.m.

Student group 2Tall4U is an acoustic group compromised of Luther seniors, Kurt Bearinger and Jake Doty. The pair performs a few original songs as well as covers of country/folk, acoustic rock and some oldies.

Strangz, a student-led string ensemble, plays contemporary hits, old rock favorites and new compositions.  The group is made up of 11 Luther students and was founded by Karla Dietmeyer, senior, Macaulley Whitlock, senior, and Emmalee Johnson, junior.

Joining Strangz on stage will be Eklipse. Eklipse is a hip-hop dance team led by Luther seniors Charlotte Page and Sam Simataa.

The performance is sponsored by SAC Spotlight.
