Sarah Fleming is a macro-practice social work practitioner and educator. Before entering academia, she had a decade-long social service career working with survivors of domestic violence, immigrants and refugees, and older adults. She is currently completing her Ph.D. at the Simmons University School of Social Work. Her research focuses on support services for survivors of domestic violence in urban and rural contexts.
