Jeanie Lovell

About
Jeanie oversees all aspects of foundation and government grantseeking for Luther and works with faculty and staff to write proposals and secure funding for projects and initiatives of all kinds. She founded and led Women, Faith, and Finance, Luther’s collaborative women’s philanthropy initiative, throughout its 20-year history (2005-2024).
Jeanie earned a master’s degree in Philanthropy and Development at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, and a bachelor’s degree in communication and English from Central College. She is a longtime member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and maintains certification as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
