About
David works with donors in Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas, Oregon, Texas, Washington, and other western states to build relationships and invite gifts in support of key initiatives.
David earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. He previously served Luther College as an administrator and as the Head Women’s Golf Coach for seven seasons. He is active in his church, Our Saviour’s Lutheran, in Tucson, Arizona where his spouse, Amalia Vagts ’95, is Lead Pastor. David joined the Luther Advancement staff in 2025.
