SAAC Food Drive & Paper Airplane Contest

During the men’s basketball game on Tue., Nov. 18, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is hosting a Food Drive and Paper Airplane Contest to benefit the Postville Food Pantry This initiative is a wonderful opportunity to support our surrounding communities.

Guests who bring a canned food item will receive a complimentary popcorn as a thank-you for their contribution.

During halftime, attendees are invited to participate in a Paper Airplane Contest. Participants will construct their own paper airplanes and, upon signal, launch them from the stands toward a target on the court. The airplane landing closest to the target will receive a prize. Pieces of paper will be $1.00 each with all proceeds going to the Postville Food Pantry.
