How to Meaningfully Protest: Lessons and Stories from Oaxaca Mexico

Senior, Karlton Anderson invites you to this event which will include a multidisciplinary discussion of the protest culture of Oaxaca, Mexico. The discussion will open with background on the history and politics of Oaxaca and delve into stories of protest and resistance in present-day Oaxaca. Time will be left at the end to discuss what it means to hold a meaningful protest, considering some of the lessons from Oaxaca. This presentation is a senior project for the International Studies major.
