Candidate Forum: Engaging the Next Generation of Leadership

The Luther College Democratic Forum will host a candidate forum featuring individuals running for public office in Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District and Iowa House District 63. This event offers students and community members the opportunity to hear directly from candidates about their priorities, policy ideas, and vision for the future.

The forum will include remarks from each candidate followed by a moderated discussion and an opportunity for audience questions. Topics may include economic opportunity, education, healthcare, and issues affecting communities across Iowa.

Candidates participating include three individuals seeking the Democratic nomination for Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District and one candidate running for Iowa House District 63. This event is open to all Luther students, faculty, staff, and community members interested in learning more about the candidates and engaging in thoughtful civic dialogue.
