Luther College Book Shop to host book signing April 11

April 10, 2013

The Luther College Book Shop will host a book signing session with author Rachel McDonough, CFP, from 3-4 p.m. Thursday, April 11, in the Luther College Book Shop in Dahl Centennial Union.

The event is open to the public with no charge for admission.

Founder and owner of Make Your Money Count, LLC, McDonough will be signing her book, "True Treasure: Giving, Saving, and Spending According to Your Calling." She is also the keynote speaker at the "Women, Faith and Finance" seminar hosted by Luther College at the Hotel Winneshiek in Decorah on April 12.

"True Treasure," her first published book, attempts to upgrade the way the reader thinks about their money, giving intentional ways to make financial decisions based on values and priorities.

"Through a rewarding profess of soul searching and reflection, you'll be empowered to manage your money with confidence, conviction and peace of mind as you see the direct connection between your money and your values," said McDonough.

Readers are invited on a journey to learn more about who they are, what they care about, and how to manage their finances accordingly.

Rachel McDonough will speak at the 'Women, Faith and Finance' lecture at Luther College on April 12.
