Luther College Student Activities Council Diversity Committee presents Adam Carroll giving the lecture "Building Your Online Brand at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18 in Valders Hall of Science, Room 206 on the Luther campus (http://www.luther.edu).
The event will be free to the public with no charge for admission.
Carroll's lecture will give insight on how to align an online image consistent with the personality, integrity, and work ethic of the student. With employers now hiring firms to research online, maintaining an appropriate online brand is more important now than ever.
Carroll, founder of National Financial Educators, encourages young people to gain complete control of their finances. "I have found that those who are able to best make, manage, save and invest their money are profoundly happier and more content with their lives," says Carroll. Co-author of "Winning the Money Game," and speaking to over 175,000 students across the country, Carroll's passion is to educate youth about finances.
He also founded Four Legacies Mortgage in 2007, the first socially responsible mortgage company in Iowa. The company aims to help people gain financial freedom, time freedom, relationship freedom and service freedom.
Carroll has guest lectured at more than 500 college campuses and hundreds of college leadership and fraternity conferences across the country. His lectures have been described as entertaining, inspiring, hilarious and impactful.
