Luther College spring opera workshop performances May 4-5

The Luther College opera performance class will present two performances of Mozart's "Così fan tutte" Friday and Saturday, May 4 and 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Center for Faith and Life Main Hall on the Luther campus.

Tickets for the performance are $10, available at the Luther Box Office, (563) 387-1357.

Directed by David Judisch, Luther professor of music, the opera follows the relationships of two couples, as well as an old philosopher and his accomplice who attempt to prove that women are inevitably fickle.

Luther Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Dan Baldwin, Luther professor of music, will perform with the opera.

James Griesheimer, Luther associate professor of music, will present an opera lecture in the Center for Faith and Life Recital Hall both nights at 6:30 p.m.

Cast members of "Così fan tutte" include: Paige Armstrong, Adam Bradley, Alec Carlson, Molly Clementz, Kristina Dudley, David Geist, Jeff Knutson, Evan Mitchell, Erin Persick, Teresa Procter, Tyler Reece, Nick Sanches, Julie Shiely, Mikki Sodergren, Chad Sonka, Matt Stump and Anne Walsh.
