Dear Luther Friends,
With Luther’s campus and the Oneota Valley as beautiful as ever this fall, the college continued to celebrate its sesquicentennial with the theme Transformed by the Journey during homecoming weekend. A highlight of homecoming weekend was a visit to campus from Their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway! It has been 150 years since Luther became the first college established by Norwegian immigrants in the United States. While much has changed since that time, much has stayed the same. Just as it was in 1861, Luther is a community of faith and learning, with an abiding appreciation for the land and community that sustains it. Read more...
