Homecoming was the greatest. The weather was perfect, royalty came, and Luther won the football game!

It all began with the arrival of King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway. There was a full house convocation in the morning (the royal party entered and left by the aisle I was sitting on but I did not reach out to touch them) where the two were awarded the Spirit of Luther Award. Luther Symphony Orchestra and Nordic Choir provided music and the King gave a short talk, emphasizing the connections of Norway and Luther College, its founders up to the present day. A  Read more...
