Helene says I am the lucky one because I get to write the fall class letter right after we have attended Homecoming weekend, which gives me a lot to write about. We celebrated our 65th class reunion at a luncheon shared with the Class of '43. Some whom we expected could not make it. They were Ruth and Harry Zeman, Bill and Margaret Fure, and Marilyn and Judge Veglahn, and were sorely missed, as were all the rest of you. Maybe next year. Ev Estenson has already registered at the motel for us to be here next year, so start planning now. We had a letter from Roger and Amme Anderson, who have moved from Decorah to Whitewater, Wis., to be closer to all their family. Here are the names of us who were at the luncheon this year: Arlene Matson, Jean Nesheim, Betty Coxson, Cora Shiffer, Phyllis Rood Cleys, Helene (Rowe) Furst and her daughter, Verna Amdahl Sand, Evelyn (Fruechte) Estenson, and I, for the female side; L.P Pinski, Warren Burstrom, and Kermit Hendrickson for the male contingent.
