Luther College Nordic Choir's first tour to Europe was in 1967. Led by Weston Noble, Luther professor emeritus of music, the choir traveled to Norway, Denmark, West Germany and behind the Iron Curtain into East Germany. Almost 50 years later, Decorah native and Luther sophomore Aidan Spencer is creating a documentary celebrating the momentous trip.
Todd Pedlar, Ph.D., Luther College associate professor of physics, has received a $150,000, grant renewal from the National Science Foundation for his research in elementary particle physics.
Luther College is pleased to announce that Tanya Gertz, Luther director of Campus Programming, has been selected as one of 25 participants in the first class of the Association of Performing Arts Presenters' Leadership Fellows Program, presented in partnership with the University of Southern California Arts Leadership Program.
