Luther College will host the Lucille Stansberry Rosholt Distinction in Accompanying and Collaborative Keyboard Performance Scholarship recital at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 6, in the Noble Recital Hall of the Jenson-Noble Hall of Music on the Luther campus.
Human rights lawyer Kathy Manley will join Ikraan Abdurahmān and Mariam Abu-Ali, whose brothers were imprisoned under the auspices of terrorism-related investigations, to discuss their experiences with the U.S. justice system and the Patriot Act in a panel titled "Islam and Pre-emptive Incarceration" at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, in F.W. Olin Building Room 102 on the Luther campus.
The 32nd annual Luther College Entrepreneurial Showcase was held Tuesday, April 11, in Luther College's Peace Dining Room. Since the initial program in 1986, the goal of the Entrepreneurial Showcase has been to serve as an annual forum for students, faculty, alumni and friends of Luther who are interested in and support entrepreneurship.
The Luther College Religion Department will host Daniel A. Morris for a lecture as part of the "Who Do You Trust" Religion Forum Series. The lecture will take place at 6 p.m., Tuesday, May 2, in Valders Hall of Science, Room 206.
