    Luther College Book Shop to host book signings, storybook readings

    The Luther College Book Shop is hosting the fifth annual storybook reading session from 11 a.m.-noon Saturday, Sept. 20, in the lobby of Dahl Centennial Union. The event will feature Luther education department students dressed as their favorite storybook characters as they read selections from various children's books.

    Luther College presents Family Weekend concert Sept. 20

    Luther College's music department will present an evening of choral and instrumental music at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, as part of Family Weekend activities. Seven ensembles will perform, including Aurora, Cantorei, Cathedral Choir, Collegiate Chorale, Norsemen, Wind and Percussion Ensemble and Varsity Band.

    Center Stage Series: 'The Intergalactic Nemesis' at Luther College Sept. 13

    Luther College invites you to open the 2014-15 Center Stage Series season not only with a bang, but with a "BAM," a "ZOOM" and a "PEW PEW PEW" as the live-action graphic novel "The Intergalactic Nemesis: Target Earth" makes its landing on the Luther campus.

    Faculty Artist Series: Luther's Carol Hester to perform flute recital Sept. 27

    Carol Hester, Luther College professor of music, will perform a flute recital at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, in the Noble Recital Hall in Jenson-Noble Music Hall on the Luther campus. The performance includes works for flute and piano by Franz Schubert, Claude Debussy and Australian composer Carl Vine.
