100 Wells concert stops at Luther on Oct. 27

The 2012 Evangelical Lutheran Church in America national youth gathering artists Agape, Lost and Found and Rachel Kurtz will perform a benefit concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 in the Center for Faith and Life Main Hall at Luther College.

The 100 Wells Challenge is a project of ELCA World Hunger was to initially raise $250,000 to support water projects around the globe. The 100 Wells Challenge has raised over $400,000, exceeding their goal. They are continuing to raise money to better support the cause. This concert will also help raise funds to continue supporting the ELCA Malaria Campaign's goal of raising $15 million by 2015 to wipe out malaria in African countries.

The concert has a $15 general admission fee, with a group rate of $12 per person for groups of 10 or more. All proceeds will benefit the 100 Wells Challenge and the ELCA Malaria Campaign.

The cost for the day is $25 per youth participant and $20 for adult sponsors. This fee includes the price of the 100 Wells Concert ticket.
