SAC Spotlight presents hypnotist Jim Wand Sept. 5

The Luther College Student Activities Council Spotlight Committee presents master hypnotist Jim Wand Saturday, Sept. 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Center for Faith and Life Main Hall on the Luther campus.

Wand has brought new performances to Luther’s stage for nearly 25 years.

Wand is the founder and owner of Wand Enterprises, The Hypnosis Agency. He holds the doctoral degree in the area of psychology, has more than 5,000 professional engagements to his credit and is considered to be one of the most professional hypnotic entertainers in the world today.

He has worked with personalities including Jay Leno, Chris Rock, Carrot Top, Larry the Cable Guy, Jeff Probst, host of the TV show “Survivor,” Sylvester Stallone, George Strait and The Judds.

Wand has also appeared on numerous TV programs and stations including the national FOX special “WOW,” “The Sally Show,” “The Judge Joe Brown Show,” the Discovery Channel, Comedy Central and numerous other appearances on FOX, ABC, NBC and CBS.

He is currently producing a hypnosis show in Las Vegas that plays seven days per week.

Wand Enterprises has been involved in the hypnosis market for corporate, college, high school, fairs/festivals and clubs for nearly 25 years. Wand is able to adapt his program to meet the needs of any audience. He blends motivational messages and entertainment to make each event both informative and entertaining.
