Luther announces 2013 graduates

Luther College held commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2013 Sunday, May 19 at 10 a.m. in Luther College's Regents Center Main Gym. A national liberal arts college with an enrollment of 2,500, Luther offers an academic curriculum that leads to the bachelor of arts degree in 60 majors and pre-professional programs.

Kevin Kraus, Luther College vice president for academic affairs and dean of the college, announces Luther students were named to the 2013 spring semester Dean's List. There were 310 seniors named to the Dean's List, 199 juniors, 181 sophomores and 103 first year students.

Members of Luther College Nordic Choir to perform National Anthem at Minnesota Twins game Aug. 12

Members of the Luther College Nordic Choir, one of the top college choirs in the nation, have been selected to represent the music department of Luther College by singing the National Anthem at an upcoming Minnesota Twins game at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minn., Aug. 12. Weston Noble Alumni Choir

Noble alumni choir returns to Decorah

The Weston Noble Alumni Choir will gather in Decorah starting July 21 for its seventh reunion and concert. The choir, representing Luther classes from 1949 to 2001, will meet for four days of intense rehearsals culminating in a concert for the public at the college’s Center for Faith and Life at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 25 (immediately following opening ceremonies for Nordic Fest).
