The Cat in the Hat

'The Cat in the Hat'

With a performance teaching children about caring, fairness, responsibility and trustworthiness, Theatreworks USA presents "The Cat in the Hat" at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, in the Main Hall of the Center for Faith and Life on the Luther College campus. The performance is recommended for children in kindergarten to fourth grade. Area schools have seating priority for school matinees; community members are welcome as space is available.

'Scouting the Unknown'

Born into a female body, international transgender speaker, consultant, publisher and author Ryan Sallans will speak at Luther College discussing his personal journey of transformation from childhood body struggles and development of an eating disorder during college to coming out as transgender and the difficulties he's faced financially, emotionally and mentally.
