Luther's Ballroom and Swing club promotes dance, culture, and fun on the college campus. There are opportunities for both competitive and social dancing. They work with ballroom professionals and other student groups, such as the Jazz Orchestra, while remaining student-run.
Eklipse Hip Hop Dance Team is a student-led dance team. They choreograph and perform routines using a variety of songs and genres, such as pop, rap, electronic, and dubstep.
The Luther Artists’ Collective (LAC) is a student-run organization that promotes student work. LAC works to critique, exhibit and sell student work. LAC has participated in and organized many exhibitions on and off campus.
Luther Art Educators Alliance (LAEA) gives Luther students opportunities to explore the intersection between art and education. LAEA conducts activities that engage both the Luther College community and the surrounding Decorah community. The organization strives to further art education majors' knowledge of their field while providing members of the local communities the chance to learn about the benefits of art education. Orchesis allows students the opportunity to continue dancing in a college setting. The group aims to encompass and promote a variety of dance backgrounds. Choreography for all dances is created by students. Orchesis enjoys giving back to the community by raising money for various charities.
SPIN Theatre Company offers opportunities for students to create theatre works. Students of all majors and backgrounds can explore their interests in various areas of theatre. SPIN offers opportunities for students interested in acting, set design, directing, stage management, and lighting/sound.
Top Banana is an audition based improv comedy troupe, specializing in the art of short form. They hold several shows throughout the semester, open to Luther students. TB provides an opportunity for members to craft their improv skills.
