A feminist retelling of the Hans Christian Anderson tale of the little mermaid, Polly Teale's play follows a mermaid leaving free from war, poverty, and death under the sea. On the land, however, amidst its pain and suffering lives a mortal prince who catches her eye. The mermaid then must decide what she is willing to sacrifice for love.
