Street portraits are my favorite pictures to take. The always are storytelling and do not need to be captioned. This picture is my absolute favorite that I have captured so far and I have submitted it to the Photographer’s Forum Magazine to take part in their annual context. The picture made it to the finalists’ round, but unfortunately did not win a top place award. However, it was featured in the magazine was an honorable mention.

To me, taking photos is not a job; It is a passion. On lovely days like that, it is delightful to grab a camera and capture moments with great people on a beautiful campus like Luther’s. The fall colours, especially at the golden hour of sunset, are stunning and make the joy of taking photos greater and greater. Go lay on the grass and clear your mind when the weather is so nice!
